The role of the Distribution and Omnichannel Manger is to support implementation of the Elective distribution model, embed an Omnichannel mindset and programs across the organization. This means ensuring markets and global functional roadmap are on track with expected deliverables and to facilitate the cross-functional workshops to sharpen existing sales acceleration and activation programs. The successful candidate will enhance the program in partnership with marketing activation Teams: particularly the differentiation in experience (portfolio of product, knowledge, and services) between different customer classification in line with elective principles.

What are we looking for?

  • Minimum of Bachelor’s Degree; Masters of Business Administration preferred

  • Minimum 10 years of experience required in related fields

  • Fluent in English, French is a plus

  • Significant customer experiences with a demonstrated ability to engage others through collaborative framework

  • Experience in in E-commerce and Sales acceleration programs

  • Experience in working in multicultural environment, interacting with senior management, regional key stakeholders, and orchestrating strategic workshops

What will be your key responsibilities?

Global Elective Distribution model

  • Lead internal Omnichannel framework (Elective Distribution). Align the strategic model internally with global and regional stakeholders. Contextualize the distribution framework according to the Sales strategy, Business units’ specifics sales environment. Deploy the model at scale (build a global roadmap), measure the performance, and build continuous improvement plan.

  • Become a change agent by developing in partnership with the key stakeholder’s regular upgrades of the rating qualitative criteria, launch of an Elective global toolkit as an official guidance tool for the markets, and organize deployment of Training programs to facilitate implementation of the new distribution model.

  • Define & develop the  Royal Canin “perfect retail experience” model: initiate a plan on how to go to markets & include it in the Elective distribution framework with a differentiated model of offers (products, services, and knowledge).

  • Marketplaces: Improve and optimize existing framework for Marketplaces. Develop relevant strategy 2.0 to develop and invest efficiently with marketplaces, and deploy the program to drive growth, better execution of the Brand, and foster our recommendation model. Lead and animate the global community in charge of the marketplace in regions and key markets. Partner internally with global marketplaces experts within Mars Inc.

  • Explore and define the key growth opportunities in untapped other new sales channels. Educate and embark the organization to operate this numerical distribution step change.

  • Accountable for the orchestration and facilitation of workshops to ensure Elective transformation requirements are integrated into next 5 years global functional and regional roadmaps.

  • Responsible for tracking deliverables for the 4 regional Elective plans.

  • Proactively seek for opportunities to upgrade Sales acceleration and Portfolio offers into a set of differentiated value propositions.

  • Represent Royal Canin in some internal or x-segment forums to share the Distribution transformation model objectives and plans. Seek continuously feedback to create synergies and efficiencies.

Foster the Royal Canin Recommendation model

In close collaboration with your peers the Selective & Brand protection Manager, and the E-Commerce Acceleration lead :

  • Co-build the dashboard to identify and measure key risks and opportunities in our current distribution of our portfolio in the retail environment. Communicate to internal key stakeholders and co-create mitigation actions when necessary.

  • Drive joined Omnichannel programs to serve Sales growth in retail (Elective model) and sequence it in a way to support existing Selective deployment roadmap and purpose (Objective of the Selective model is to engage our veterinarian professional customers with a dedicated portfolio).
