This role defines and leads the development and the deployment of the digital strategy for the Royal Canin Manufacturing facilities. This Manufacturing digital strategy is focusing on the 4 following areas and is expected to be one critical efficiency enabler in our plants :

• Manufacturing Control Tower (plant dashboards, performance, benchmark, modelling)

• Self-optimizing Plants (failure predictions, prevention)

• Cognitive Automation (digital collaboration, track & trace, Augmented Reality)

• Connected Associate/Workforce (paperless, workflows, Education & Training)

This role requires high level of stakeholder management: cross-functional, cross-regional, cross-segments.

What are we looking for?

• Master in Industrial Engineering and/or Business Management

• 10/15 years of experience in Supply: Plant / Operations Manager, Regional Industrial Engineer, Technical department, Operations and/or Logistics

• Fluent in English

What will be your key responsibilities?

• Develops the Manufacturing digital strategy and ensure it is aligned across the Value Chain Operations (VCO) organization: Engineering and Digital Technologies (DT) functions, Regional teams (VP, IE, MSE coaches)

• Leads the development of the Manufacturing digital roadmap by ensuring each project in this roadmap being properly scope, phased and resourced

• Supports each project leader from the ideation stage to project completion through financial justification/funding and scoping

• Prepare and leads the periodic Manufacturing digital steering commitee and ensure the agreed governance is applied on the program: individual projects updates, escalation, trade-offs, …

• Build and setup the facilitation of key users communities for each digital solution being deployed: governance of the standard use of the solution, continuous improvement of the solution

• Benchmarking: internal (other segments/divisions) and external (other CPGs and experts)
