In order to strengthen Royal Canin Distribution quality processes, enhance traceability and secure our Hold & Release operations, the Distribution Quality & Traceability Global Coordinator will be in charge of supporting Distribution Quality Management and Traceability Standards deployment, supporting the projects related to these subjects (in particular ERP Agnostic project), explaining the expectations, following-up the roadmap, providing training, leveraging compliance and more globally, reviewing the processes related to traceability and distribution to ensure their robustness. The position owner may also provide support on External Manufacturing Quality Management and Secondary Co-packing implementation. To engage the teams on our Quality journey and reach our objectives, this job requires highly developed communication and interpersonal skills, to develop the interfaces between the different Distribution Centers, Regional and Global teams working with projects groups and advising to the local teams.

- A strong knowledge on Quality systems and processes, Quality in Distribution, warehouse operations, logistics distribution models, and best practices, giving the necessary credibility to convince and persuade local teams to align to the strategy and to deploy it instead of imposing it.
- Being oriented on quality management and continuous improvement, very open-minded and conceptual minded to solve issues and find adapted solutions.
Education & Professional Qualifications
- Master in Food Science or Quality or Supply Chain
- A strong knowledge of quality systems and processes (Knowledge on ISO 9001 or ISO 22000/FSSC standards or BRC Storage & Distribution)
- A fluent English (reading, writing and speaking)
Knowledge / Experience
- Knowledge of Mars distribution or External Manufacturing Quality Management standards, Traceability rules, Mars procedures and governance rules on these subjects
- A minimum of 3 years in QFS Management or Supply chain experience
- Knowledge on WMS and ERP systems logic and processes
- Organization & Time management skills
- Familiarity with Change Management tools will be valued
- An ability to work in a multi-cultural environment
- Project management skills
What will be your key responsibilities?
Distribution Quality Management Standard specialist
- Accountable for End-to-End Standard deployments on the distribution network
- Drive globally Compliance to Distribution Quality Management standard and procedures
- Identify levers for compliance improvement and create roadmap with regions
- Define the needs for concessions and coordinate them for RC Network
- Develop tools to support implementation
- Create and provides training to Quality in Distribution community
- Standard owner back-up
Lead Projects & Initiatives related to Distribution Quality Management and Traceability
- Defines Picture of success, objectives, technical content
- Drives continuous improvement, support Incident management and prevention
- Support Regions for Distribution Quality Management deployment and for External Manufacturing Quality Management Secondary Copacking implementation
- Active member of Quality in Distribution Community
- Owns Knowledge Management related to Distribution and Traceability
- Follow-up on DQM and Traceability standards compliance roadmaps
- Support Traceability IT system deployment, support documentation building and trainings
- Provide visibility on expected processes, support building the “to be” scenario
