What are we looking for?
- B.S. or M.S. in Science, Engineering (Mechanical, Chemical, Food) or related technology program
- Demonstrated industry experience as R&D engineer or Quality & Food Safety Engineer
- Green belt or Black belt for Lean 6-Sigma is a plus
- > 5 years relevant experiences in technology development or implementation
- Demonstrated factory experience

What will be your key responsibilities?
Lead the Global R&D Packaging Technology governance activities:
- Define Process specifications related to packaging equipment and technology, DRY & WET pillar
* Write and update process specifications related to standardized packaging process, from product weighing to truck loading, including primary packaging (bags, cans, …), secondary packaging (cases) and tertiary packaging (pallets).
* Develop, define and write process specifications for new packaging technology (from draft process specification to standardized process specifications).
* Align R&D specifications with key technical stakeholders: Global Engineering (Global Technical Leader team) & Global Quality & Food Safety (Excellence in Manufacturing team).
- Be the packaging technology leader for R&D department
* Be the R&D packaging process leader on QES project and TRL project.
* Contribute to complex problem-solving project related to packaging issues faced on factory network.
* Coordinate and follow-up market soft-launch of mono-materials bags in our manufacturing network.
* Propose and execute studies to increase packaging expertise related to process and product.
* Put in place a knowledge management system related to packaging process.
* Contribute to the PETCARE community of practice/community of expert to maintain the foundation of the technical knowledge and best practices (specifications, SOP, targets, methodologies, technology benchmark).
* Contribute to train global and regional R&D resources on packaging technology.
- Support CVS process execution for all Regions
* Define validation criteria per packaging system/subsystem/equipment and per packaging category (primary, secondary, and tertiary).
* Define validation protocols (process & product validation) to support CVS process for all standard packaging equipment.
*Deliver training on packaging process principles (process flow, principle theory, quality checks requirements, …).
* On Major CVS project, be part of the CVS team to detail process and product validation requirement and be part of Hand Over 1 (HO1) signature.
