The Regional Functional Lead Demand Planning is responsible for the following:
ACTs as Business Process Guardian and central point of contact in the region on Demand Planning function, provides expert functional support to their stakeholder community such that the business operates smoothly.
OWNs deployment of the global process standards for Demand Planning part of the End 2 End (E2E) Supply Chain Planning for the European region.
LEADs agreed business integration projects and sets the current and future demand planning strategies for the region by partnering with global planning CoE (Centre of Expertise) in the design phase of the future processes.
What are we looking for?
10 Years’ experience in Supply chain activities including 3+ years in Demand Planning operations Into complex FMCG network
University degree (Master) or Engineer
Fluent English, fluent French is nice to have
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, FuturMaster or similar planning system
Demonstrated Strong Leadership – Change agent skills to drive mindset program through indirect control and influence
Sound interpersonal skills enabling the incumbent to work effectively within cross-functional Teams and external suppliers
Strong communication and presentation capabilities
Strong Digital technologies savvy
What will be your key responsibilities?
Act as a Demand Planning SME (Subject Matter Expert) for all demand & inventory planning Key Users in the region.
- Provide support as per the need in the day-to-day functional issue resolution.
- Ensure the availability of the functional content of the Process Playbook and Assessment Toolkit
- Define forecasting strategy during critical moments i.e. Cyberattack, Covid-19, exceptional sales strategy.
- Represent the region in Global/X-Segment Planning forums.
Lead the continuous improvement of the demand forecast (SFA/BIAS) in the region.
- Lead initiatives related to people, process, system, and master data allowing improved demand forecast.
- Drive annual process audits and follow-up action plans with local Planning team Managers.
Animate Demand Planning community in the region through CoP (Community of Practices)
- Lead Periodic (w. Key Users) & Trimestrial (w. Planning Team Manager's) CoP sessions.
- Educate other market / regional stakeholders on the significance of Demand Planning process in the grand scheme of things from an E2E perspective.
Drive Demand Planning CiP (Continuous Improvement Process) roadmap for the region
- Collect, Document & Assess CiP requests and build Regional CiP roadmap with clear case for change.
- Collaborate with Global BPO's & DT BP to budget, design & develop agreed CiP's.
Lead Demand Planning CiP's deployment /new global standards deployment in the region
- Lead deployment projects through x-functional collaboration as a PMO/Planning SME.
- Develop a test plan for any release / periodic change slots with relevant key users and work on Issue resolution / escalation from their testing to minimize business Impact & workload.
