The Maintenance Leads are multi-skilled system experts responsible for leading the maintenance technicians on their shift. They are looked at as the senior maintenance associate on shift. This includes,assigning the daily direction and escalation management on shift for the maintenance team. The Maintenance Lead also needs to be a proficientintroubleshooting, breakdown analysis, repair, and maintain specific machinery in the assigned area to support their team. This job requires strong communication, interpersonal and team building skills to support site objectives.

Education &Professional Qualifications
Industrial Maintenance, Journeyman, or vocational schooling preferred. Must demonstrate experience with mechanical-electrical skills
Some previous experience in a manufacturing environment.
Lifting 25 lbs.
Possess basic computer skills, knowledge of simple programs such as Excel and Word.
Knowledge/Experience
Self-Development: Ability to learn additional skills and develop in role with additional responsibilities.
Machine shop tool, fabrication, welding experience, plumbing, pipefitting, not required but is a bonus.
What will be your key responsibilities?
Handles all escalations for maintenance as single point of contact for their shift.
Is responsible for attending peer to peer, shift to shift, and shift performance meetings, and shift close out passdowns.
Responsible for the daily direction setting balancing the planned maintenance schedule and the unplanned work order requests of the day.
Responsible for coordinating with the maintenance manager any shift call ins and managing absenteeism for the shift.
Performs all assigned activities & job tasks within a line or area
Leads and participates in major rebuilds and PMs across the site.
Is an active coach and leader for PM’s.
Takes corrective actions in solving problems to root cause level.
Able to assess equipment operating reliability and perform routine repairs, adjustments and malfunction troubleshooting.
Capable of troubleshooting, repairing and overhauling equipment within close tolerances.
Perform routine electrical and mechanical problem-solving on process & packaging equipment.
Understand and implement calibration on defined equipment within area ownership.
Support Operations in equipment setup, changeover and training of operators in Autonomous Maintenance (AM) activities.
Understands maintenance scheduling, planning, and inventory management.
Can be counted on to perform work orders as part of the planned schedule of Mx tasks and executing to those plans with proper close out of work orders
Effectively communicate with Operators, Peers, Supervisors and all levels of management on a daily basis.
Demonstrate high customer focus, “service with a smile” in all aspects of the work we perform for our peers and team mates.
Peer to peer shift handoffs demonstrating a reliable member of the team, punctual attendance is required.
Adheres to all Mars safety & quality policies: GMP, Hygiene, LOTO, Working at Heights, Confined Spaces, Electrical Worker Safety, Work Place Transport.
Able to operate a forklift.
Able to operate a computer and utilize the basic standard desktop systems (CMMS, Microsoft Office programs) Document Work Orders (WO) using Computerized Maintenance Management System.
Capable skills in basic hand tools and certain shop equipment
Knowledge of and understanding to read and interpret – mechanical drawings, electrical drawings, and process & instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs)

Needs to show organization and proper care of assigned tools & tool boxes.
Demonstrated ability to work well in a team environment, taking initiative with team along with other team members to train, motivate and solve problems.
